Review content:
I think the process of looking for a dress should be a pleasant experience, one where the bride is made to feel important, special and beautiful. At David's Bridal in Dedham the experience was just the opposite. From the moment we arrived, everyone we encountered from the person who signed us in, to the person who helped my daughter look for a dress was rude and uncaring. No one ever asked her what kind of wedding she was planning. They criticized us for coming on a Sat., ordered us around and even told my daughter she had to try on a certain dress when she told the girl who was supposed to help us, that it was exactly what she didn't want. My daughter was allowed to try on only about 3-5 dresses and was told if she wanted to try on any more than that she should make another appointment, for another day. Also she was told she could only try on a dress in 1 or 2 sizes. Guess they couldn't pin a dress. Dressing rooms were crowded, not clean and at times 2-4 brides were trying to find space in front of the mirror. Glad we left and went to a smaller store, where we given a wonderful amount of care and attention and were able to find and buy the perfect dress.
