I was in the Huntersville area last week visiting a friend and just so happens I was needing a set of tires.I happen to remember an old friend of mine and his family has a tire store and garage.Well I checked a local tire chain and what a joke on the prices,so I stopped by to see Steve Dove of Dove Tire.Hadn't seen him sence 1971.Him and his brother were still the same people I grew up with.Good honest family and run their business the same way just like their dad did.I remember now my father bought all his tires from them.Steve gave me a price on a set that was basic to the same one's I priced at a chain store earlier.The price was close to half the price of the major store chain,mounted and balanced.What a great saving to me.I drove back down Monday and had them put on.I live in the High Rock area and that is a 60 mile drive for me.I passed alot of tire stores between here and there but it is well worth the drive.I recommend this local store to everyone in that area.This location has been there sence 1962 or 1963.That alone says alot for them.The big store chains have a high overhead and can't give you the low cost that a store with low overhead can give you.When you leave their store you will fill like your not only a customer but you will fill like you have made a new friend.The Doves take alot of pride in what they do. I will be returning for other service's.Job well done and I have xtra money in my pocket to buy high priced gas with.
