One perfect word to describe the entire transaction that I had with Watson Property Mgmt. and Tanya Chappell: Unprofessional.
Her sales agents were openly hostile with me, a customer, before I had signed a contract. To that extent, I should have known better.
For the entire term of our agreement, Tanya Chappell and her slick team demanded some of the most outrageous things that I have ever heard of in this industry. It is clear to me that her office is in the business of harassing and threatening clients to cover up for its own NUMEROUS omissions and errors. In my specific case, her office couldn't even keep track of its own actions, and repeatedly tried to hold me responsible for its failures.
I can't believe the extent that I had to legally protect myself due to Tanya's invented actions and claims.
From the beginning to the end of our contract, starting with her unfriendly sales agents, continuing with the constant harassment by her managers like Michelle Byrne, and finally ending with her shady contractors, I was amazed at how she continues to find clients in this community.
If you are looking in the Gainesville market, stay away from Watson and Tanya Chappell. Do not lease from them, it was one of the worst businesses that I have ever dealt with in my entire life.
