Review content:
My 87 year-old father stayed at Lakeshore Villas from 12/23/09 thru 12/31/09. During his stay he received 2 giftcards as Christmas gifts. Both items were left inside the greeting cards, put back in the envelopes they came in and placed in his dresser drawer. A few days later he noticed the giftcards were missing so he reported the incident. Since he did not have any outside visitors during that time period, it was determined that a staff member had taken them. \r I expected Lakeshore Villas to replace the giftcards since they were stolen by one of their employees but they would not because they weren’t on the inventory list of his belongings (that list was filled out on 12/23/09 and he received the giftcards on 12/25/09 so they wouldn’t have been there).\r It absolutely disgusts me that someone whose supposed to be caring for my 87 year-old father would steal from him. It further irritates me that Lakeshore Villas refuses to do anything about it.\r I do not recommend this facility. Pros: Facility was clean Cons: Staff steals from patients
