My son was in a motorcycle accident on Saturday. His bike was towed to Lima which was 3 miles from the accident site. The driver lied to my husband and said that they were closed for the weekend so we couldn't do anything until Monday. We went on Monday just to get a bunch of crap. The girl who was not freindly told us that we had to get my son to sign some paper and that we had to have a nurse call from the hospital to give her a fax number. She said that my son could not call her or write something on his own to release the bike to us. It was so difficult to get his bike out. She gave us the run around just so they can make more money off of us! They told us that we had to come back and pay the gate fee of 80.00 dollars. They would not give us a amount of the cost. We asked a half of dozen times what the cost was and no one gave us a straight answer. When we went back that night the driver said yes they are open 24 hours. We were pissed! Than we got the bill and we were furious! Lima Towing charged my poor son who can't help himself 206.25 to tow his bike to their facility which is 3 miles or less from the accident site. Than it was 165.00 for storing it there for 3 days because of their dishonest employees who told us that they were closed! Than there was the gate fee of 80.00. The bill came to 536.25!!!!! I going to make a complaint against them to the better business bureau. What a rip off company and so dishonest!!!!! Please if you can use another company if you need a tow. If your in a accident and your forced to deal with these uncaring ripoff people than God be with you to help.
