I don't understand all the belly aching about this hotel. I was there in October 08 and was very impressed. For those of you who don't like it - ITS AN OLD HOTEL !! It has a little character and is not a brand new generic, bland, milk-toast, boring box room with puffy sheets.
I had a corner room big enough to play raquetball in, with a great view, the staff was great, the bar was great, no problems at all. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Not SUPER for business traveler, (old desk was a little small) but the wifi was strong in all areas I was in.
Great hotel - go there with confidence understanding it has character.
