Review content:
I called this place prior to making an appointment. The big question for me was how much would high power progressives cost. I was quoted $220. I went. The doc and exam was ok - not anything great, but fine. But, when I went to update my glasses - it went bad. The optical clerk became argumentative when I told her I had been quoted $220 for progressives. She said I should've told them I had a ""bad"" prescription. I told her that I think the professionals should have asked me that BEFORE giving me a quote. In addition, I think if this place would've cared about customer service, they would have found a way to make it right. I didn't like being given a quote that was neither true nor stuck to. I didn't like the optical clerk's attitude. When I left, I told the lady at the desk, that I wanted a copy of my file (which I got) because I would not be back, but she didn't seem to be too interested in knowing WHY I would not be back - so I told her. I also wrote a letter to the doctor, but no response so I guess they have my money for the exam and don't give a flip about people returning. Right now they are the only opticians (I believe) in Woodland Park. They need some competition and learn how to answer questions on the phone!
Pros: Parking, convenient location (if you're from Teller CO), OK exam but expensive
Cons: Poor customer service, lousing attitude by optical clerk, lack of care by all, expensive, Incorrect info. given out over the phone
