Tried going to Trout's Flyfishing tonight, but the shop was closed even though their website said they would be open until 8:00 p.m. and the hours on the door said the same. \r

I arrived at 6:30 and knocked on the door only to have an employee inform me that the shop was closed. I made it clear that I had driven 30 minutes specifically to shop at Trout's Flyfishing. The guy was not friendly, did not explain why they were closing 1.5 hours early, did not offer to help me out in the least, nor was the slightest bit of an apology offered. \r

If something came up and the shop had to be closed, that happens from time to time and is understandable. But when a customer tells an employee (maybe it was the owner, I don't know) that he spent 30 minutes just driving to their business, and the employee doesn't show one smidgen of a concern, that shows poor business skills. \r

There are plenty of fly shops in the area, and I will never again waste my time at Trout's Flyfishing.
