waited two months for the merry band to do the right thing..they won't...bought a used corvette from them. bought it on Ebay (another disaster)..the description was flowing, great this, great than, it did look good...two weeks after the purchase the check engine light came on..took it to MY mechanic, the merry band is 60plus miles away...My guy said the transmission was not operating right..took it to leon's transmission in thousand oaks. said the torque converter was shot, but would have to take the trans out to fix the converter..called the merry boys, they said the i had to bring it there, didn't want to have it towed 60 miles and if you read reviews on their mechanics, not stellar..I told them i just wanted them to be fair..i understood the warranty but asked them to do the right thing..pay a portion of the cost..i would assume the rest..As it turns out the entire trans was shot and i paid 4 grand to get it fixed..they never called me back..after i got it back,being very suspicious of these guys i had my mechanic go over it..two michellins on the front in good shape, two bridgestones on the back, less than 3/32 tread..they said the tires were great...1100 later for two run flats, i'm up to nearly 5 grand..my guy show me that all the filters were clogged so i had them changed. I'm not going to tell you not to go to them, but be aware it ain't what it seems..Ebay was absolutely NO HELP. their operations for complaints is in the Philipines, God help me...Best bet, pay a little more, go to a local dealer that is reputable, and be satisfied..I'm over 5 grand two months later.....
