Review content:
The hamburgers at Cross-Rhodes are the best. They are not huge or terribly fancy, just really good basic fresh ground, hand-formed, charbroiled burgers. I like my burgers rare, and this is one of only a few places I trust enough to do them right. The quality of the beef at Cross-Rhodes is exceptional, and they have the art of burger making down to a science. The rare ones come charred on the outside and deep red on the inside, cooked just enough so they aren't dripping blood. Perfect. I like mine with feta cheese and a glass of Retsina (Greek wine). Even the tomato, onion and dill pickle are good. The only complaint I have is that the mustard is yellow and boring. And don't pass on the greek fries, they are big, crisp wedges drizzled with a lemon-oregano dressing. mmmmm.
