Review content:
I found this place by accident but was very glad that I did. I put a search in for ""sushi"" on my rental car's GPS and it said that there was a place close by called Osaka Sushi...which I guess was the previous owner. There are a lot of good sushi places in Orange County, but this one wins my vote because it is small, nicely decorated and the food is great. An added bonus is how friendly everybody is that works there. I know there are fancier places in the area, but, if I lived here, this is the place I would go to on a regular basis. The sushi is great and reasonably priced. I had the catepillar roll and the spicy tiger roll (or crunchy tiger, I don't exactly remember the name) and they were both fantastic. The guys behind the bar made me feel very welcome by giving me miso soup, cucumber salad and an orange dessert at no charge. Everybody that came into the restaurant was treated like family (and often called by name). I will be back on my next trip to Orange County.
Pros: Family atmosphere, great food and nice prices
Cons: Hard to find because it's in a strip mall tucked behind other stores away from street view
