I’ve been with LPAH for five years and have always had pretty good service with them. About a year ago one of my dogs needed some pain meds. LPAH charged $140 for them. When it came time to refill the Rx I checked on-line and found them for $80. But LPAH would not fax the Rx to 1800petmeds, so I went in and picked it up and mailed it off. I know live an hour away and have still been going to LPAH and have spent $1,000 on vet bills there. The Rx came up for refill and they refused to re-fill it with 800petmeds, refused to fax it to them, and even refused to verify the Rx, that I scanned and sent to 1800petmeds, was valid over the phone. Of course they offered to fill it for me there, for $140 and a two hours of driving to pick it up. I used to have three friends that worked there too, which is why I started using LPAH, and kept using them even though their fees were high and the hassle with the Rx the 1st time. So I’m now taking my business elsewhere since it’s clear they would rather make $60 off me than do what’s best for my pet.
