Review content:
I've seen Dr. Shah twice, two years apart, for routine ""mole screenings"", because I have a family history of skin cancer and have had skin cancer myself (basal cell). On both visits, I felt Dr. Shah did a very cursory exam. After the first time this happened, I felt a little shell-shocked and decided that I'd be more forceful the next time. But I recently had the second exam, and was this time even more disappointed. For example, I was wearing jeans, and although she pulled up the bottom part of my jeans to examine my calves, she never saw the top of my legs! And what about the top of my head? Or my buttocks? When I go in for a comprehensive mole check, I expect all areas of my body to be examined, not just a few. All the while, she kept repeating that she ""wasn't concerned at all"". Well, it's not about HER being concerned! I'm the patient!
I won't be giving Dr. Shah another chance, I'm afraid. I've gotten the feeling she likes working a few hours a week and driving her little sports car...
Pros: Dr.'s personality seems sweet and helpful at first...
Cons: But then she becomes condescending.
