Businiess name:  La Maschera

I think the last reviewer has this place confused with somewhere else. This is La Maschera on Fair Oaks in Old Pasadena and it is fantastic! The food is off-the-charts delicious as well as the wines (and I'm an admitted wine snob from Napa). The chef was trained in Naples (as opposed to Tiajauna) and you can taste his pride in every dish. Treat yourself to the following: Heart of palm salad, followed by the lamb chops, Tiramisu for dessert (made by the chef nightly). That runs about $35. If that's expensive, I suggest King Taco. As to atmosphere, all of the furniture was handmade by the father of one of the owners. The sense of pride of the ownership is clear every time you enter this place. My wife and I eat here three times a week. Always love it. Cant understand the prior reviewer. Theres always one.
