Review content:
I lived here for over a year. The staff is always smiling and handing out candy & stuff. But whenever you have a concern, complaint, or suggestions, that's all you get; a smile and a nod of the head; absolutely no action, ever. The Camden corporate office approves requests, and they're in Arizona! They made me feel like they see their tenants as expendable pests. There is a great lack of parking, and no policy on resident/visitor parking. Anyone can park here, and they do; Bill, Bob, Mary, and their whole visiting family! As a paying resident, you end up having to haul your groceries, or your sleeping child for blocks! I've asked for something to be done several times, and escalated my complaint to the national level, but no action; they prefer to keep it as is. The justification they gave me was that they would be ""trading one problem for another"". I don't think that accommodating your paying tenants should be considered a ""problem"". Secondly, I recently received my Rental Proposal for the next year, and they jacked up my rent by a whopping 12%!!! I have complained and put in a request to have a more reasonable offer, but to no avail. So after investing tremendously in making my apartment my home, they seem to believe they have me cornered; either that, or they like to weed out tenants they don't want. I looked around, and there are apartments just as nice for much less. I've signed a lease elsewhere, and will be moving out. At Camden, maintenance requests are completed poorly. The list just goes on and on. FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE and don't give a %%$#@ regardless of the cheesy smiles! Pros: Landscaping and colors... that's about it Cons: No parking, poor maintenance crew, tenants requests not met
