I read these reviews and I decided to contact this company. The gentlemen who answered the phone told me I would receive everything that my last movers had done for a flat rate per hr. This is where the lies began. First of all they showed up over an hour late, which I was paying for.. Then when they reached my apartment, I encountered nothing but excuses. They worked very slow and everything was a problem. They must has asked my 1000 times what I wanted packed. I kept saying everything this is why I hired a moving company. Then to make matters worse, before they took my items to my new location, he told me it would be almost double what I was originally quoted for. They charged me for boxes, TV wrapping, wrapping of my mattress, ETC. I then called the company to tell him that they made a mistake. This is when the owner when nuts on me on the phone, then hung up and turn his phone off so I couldn’t call him back. The movers that were in my apartment were screaming at me, saying moving with boxes isn’t free and that I was trying to scam them. REALLY are they kidding me. Once they got to my new apartment, they made me pay by phone or they were going to keep my items and not deliver them. This is where the experience got even worse, they did not unload one single box, they made me do it. Also they said if I wasn’t done in a certain amount of time I was going to be charged even more. Finally to top of this horrible experience I had. They said that since 2 pieces of my couch wouldn’t fit in the elevator and they had to walk it up some stair they wanted an extra 100 dollars and that we better give them a tip. They also said they would leave it in the basement unwrapped and I could deal with it. Overall they must be writing their own reviews because this was the worst experience I have ever had, I was brought to tears during what should have been a joyous time. Don’t use them!!!!
