We went from school to school interviewing trying to find a perfect fit for our children. I must say putting our two children in CCA has been a great decision. Mrs. Nott (K4) and Mrs. Jefferson (K5) are absolutely fantastic teachers!! Not only do they teach with the christian based education, but also Spanish, cursive handwriting, and sign language and yes they really do learn it. We had our daughter in public school and pulled her and put her in CCA and what a difference it has made in her education. She is actually being taught now. She has already learned her vowels, how to tell time, the values of money, and how to form small words in a very short time at this school. In the public school her education was being placed on hold for the other children to catch up to her. There was no individualizing and the curriculum paled in comparison. I am also pleased that this school still instills discipline but not with a heavy hand. They still allow the child to be a child, but while maintaining control of the children. One other plus is the uniforms are kept very basic and not nearly as pricey as the other private schools. The children are allowed to wear t-shirts and polos with the logo. Great job CCA and a big thanks to Mrs. Nott and Mrs. Jefferson!! Pros: CURRICULUM, TEACHERS, UNIFORMS, CLASS SIZE, ALLOWS THE CHILD TO BE A CHILD Cons: More playground equipment and toys (which is a work in progress)
