We visited twice (once with each of our kids).\r \r The service on our first visit was on par or slightly above par for what you would expect with any urgent care. (Friendly and helpful staff) \r \r The second time the service was not as good. We arrived just after lunch on a Sunday in the peak of cold/flu season. So it should have not been a big surprise that we faced a long wait time to get a room and even longer to see the Nurse Practitioner (LNP). \r \r If my rating was only based on the two office visits, I'd have to give the Allen Acute Kids a 4 star rating.\r \r But I received a statement and had questions. Let me tell you, I learned the hard way that if you have billing questions it is probably best to contact Acute Kids directly instead of their billing service. I received some really bad explanations of charges when I contacted the billing service which led to a big misunderstanding. Acute Kids was quick to reach out to me. The staff at Acute Kids went the extra mile to help clear up the misinformation and to make sure my billing was correct. I was very impressed with the follow up. \r \r Based on my overall experience, I'd like to give Acute Kids a 4.5 star rating. Since there is no way to give 1/2 star ratings, I must round up to 5 star rating to be fair.\r \r
