Review content:
Although you may base your opinion of Shogun on the reviews from others on this site, I recommend that you check it out for yourself. Although service can be slow when you come in a big group, the rolls and sashimi served are the freshest and most delectable you will find in the Baltimore metro area. This is in many respects a very Japanese restaurant. Do not expect the usual artificiality of friendly banter with the staff. Unlike many of the other popular sushi venues in the Baltimore area, Shogun is a place to enjoy the company of your party and the wonderful food, not the forced smiles and meaningless conversations that a lot of other restaurateurs try to push on you to appear accommodating or friendly. I have not had authentic Japanese food this tasty outside of my own home or that of my in-laws in Japan.
Pros: Outstanding food, Endearing staff
Cons: Difficult to park, Cramped Seating
