Buyer beware! The gym is great but their business practices suck. I was ripped off to the tune of about $3500. I joined & signed a contract early 2009. Fine print allowed them to renew it every year unless I cancelled. After about 6 months I decided to cancel as I was no longer using the gym, and as the cancellation fee was less than the balance of monthly payments due. I called, and was told I needed to come in & cancel in person and in writing. I did. They tried to talk me into getting someone else to take over my membership, but agreed to cancel. Several months later I noticed the bill (about $35) still coming out of my account. I called, and the person I spoke to said she'd research it & call me back. Nothing happened. Finally I went in again. This time they told me that as they couldn't find their paperwork, I would need to produce the paper receipt they had given me when I originally dropped. Since I couldn't find that, they charged me for a full 8 months after my original withdrawal.
