We couldn't have been more surprised. The atmosphere was quiet yet kid friendly and we felt at home right away. Then we were greeted with slices of fresh made bread and an olive oil dip laced with whatever herbs were fresh from the garden growing behind the cafe. The wine was excellent. The soup changes and that day it wasn't the best (in fact, it was awful). However, all was forgiven when the amazing entrees arrived. ....Shrimp and grits with a homemade barbeque sauce topped with fresh asparagus ..... pulled chicken and grits with barbeque sauce topped with sweet red peppers ....pasta with shrimp and alfredo sauce filled with fresh oregano and basil from the chef's personal garden .... \r \r There were no words to describe how delicious the food was. The smell alone! Then we tasted it! The grits were creamy and the sauce was light and slightly sweet. Perfection! I highly recommend that everyone find their way to this little restaurant. It is completely different and worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.
