Review content:
I am heartbroken to learn KING's Western wear has closed!! I have been a customer for 30 years, going back to their Van Nuys Blvd location. I even had an ex girlfriends mother who worked there, a Mrs Cody, who said she loved working there as the owners & Management were great. I am afraid I had moved out of town but recently, when I needed new ""Cowboy Boots"" had planned on buying them at King's,until I learned they were now gone! I am just without words to describe how bad I feel. There will never be another store as large and as great a selection as King's had of all manner of Western boots, clothing, belts etc. I thank you for all your years of great service and can only hope that the family will find a way of reopening, perhaps a bit smaller but still, ""Kings."" As I realize how remote that chance is, I can only feel sorry for those that never had a chance to shop there. I am sick that L.A. has so many ""sheep"" (by no means everyone) that when ""Urban Cowboy"" is no longer popular, that those ""sheep"" that live in L.A., run to the next fad or trend of baggy shorts & clothing that has no quality and NO purpose to actual work or recreation. Have you ever try to run or play with pants hanging off your torso? lol. I digress however, I am no fashion expert and will always be partial to western wear, as I am a transplanted Texan. I simply bemoan the loss of such a great store, run by considerate and conscientious owners/staff. I for one will not forget you guys, pretty significant for a clothing store, is it not?\r
Respectfully,\r
