I enjoy Spago's since it's one of the shishi places in town where you get consistant service and food. I've never been disappointed, and it's always amusing to see who's around. The chef's tasting menu was rather good, if a bit rarified this time. The sweetmeats may be a bit much for some tastes, but it's definitely a gourmet selection of small dishes which give you a wide range to sample. I always enjoy talking to their very informed wait staff and sommaliers - they offer excellent suggestions and don't push anything on you which you don't want.
Pros: Good gourmet food, excellent service, informed staff
Cons: tables are close, bit loud when packed, shishi clientele
