Review content:
Previous reviews are waaaaaay off. The service was horrible. That is not to say they weren't trying but I think they just simply don't get it.\r
\r
There are approximately 15-20 tables here ranging from seating for 6 or 2 with tables pushed together for larger parties.\r
\r
The first time I went the restaurant was at full capacity save 3 2 person tables. They only had 2 waiters for the whole place. To make matters worse, these 2 waiters were also in charge of greeting/seating patrons, clearing, presenting the food, cleaning the tables after patrons leave, and cashier duty. Needless to say it was near impossible to get any sort of service. The waiters would literally run from station to station, kitchen to counter, etc. Sweaty waiters are not my idea of an appetizing environment. That aside, after you place your initial order it was a tremendous challenge to even begin to get their attention for a drink refill or other requests. Food came after 58 mins.\r
\r
Second visit. Very much of the same thing.\r
\r
Third visit. I asked if they could prepare for a little side dish with noodles for the baby and they came back saying it wasn't possible. This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that has flat out declined to make concessions for such a common and a easy request. Being an avid restaurant junkie I was completely speechless. I indicated I wasn't looking for a free plate of noodles, I'd be willing to pay to mix their udon noodles with their miso broth. No go. When the ""udon"" noodles came out they were far from udon. They were much thinner and tasted completely different. Plain rice noodles it seemed.\r
\r
My final complaint. At the end of the day, a restaurant's most basic calling is good food. The food was subpar to say the least. Bulgogi was grainy and too sweet, udon was not udon, sun doo boo chigae was pretty tasteless and for those of you who know that dish; yeah, I too thought it was impossible to have such a bold dish come out tasteless.
Pros: They spoke Korean
Cons: Horrible service, no parking, unimpressive food
