Review content:
My husband and I ate at Sherpa's last night, hoping that it deserved the 9.1 rating that it got on this site. Anyway, we were thoroughly disappointed. The service was okay, but the food simply did not taste like Indian food. We ordered our usual Chicken Tikka Masala ""spicy"", but the dish did not have ANY spice at all and lacked the wonderful tandoori flavor that we've grown accustomed to with this dish. And the chicken itself was flavorless and tough. We also ordered the vegetable curry ""spicy"", and again, no spice! And this dish actually tasted a little like Chinese food. Nothing against Chinese food, but we came to this place to eat Indian! We will not be going back. We did think that their naan was good, but it's not a good sign when the naan was the best part of our dinner!
Pros: interesting building--old house
Cons: hard to find parking on the weekend, close to Pearl Street Mall
