Review content:
Wow! I was blown away by the Emerson Creek Tearoom when I first visited this year. When you go down the road you feel like you have been transported to the country. I was told to make reservations because they are always full and I was glad I did. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and told me about the history of the property which I found very personable and interesting. My server was very friendly and told me about the seasonal and new items on the menu. Appearantly they change the menu each week which was a refreshing change from the chain restaurants that make up Oswego dining. Everything was homemade and delicious. I had their soup and flower pot salad and was quite surprised at how large the portions were. The peach blackberry cobbler for desert was to die for. I am already planning my next visit to bring friends! The views from the restaurant, the tearoom atmosphere, and the friendly staff all made this a great dining experience!
