Review content:
Shuiwah does traditional family style dinners in the Cantonese style (lots of seafood). We went for a lunch on Sunday when most families were in for the buffet dim sum, however, we chose a pre-set menu for a family dinner for 4. Great value, for a little over $40, we got soup, two fish dishes, one shrimp dish, one chicken dish, and one mixed seafood dish. Though the flavor was light and delicate in the Cantonese style, I wondered about the freshness of the vegetables. Also, the food pairing was also somewhat questionable (all seafood with exception of one chicken dish?) Service was prompt and friendly and the water glass never got empty (sometimes this can be a lot to ask in an authentic Chinese restaurant). Overall, there are other spots I would rather venture for Cantonese cuisine but this was a good value.
Pros: Value, atmosphere, service
Cons: redundant menu items
