Review content:
This place is about three miles west on Cherry St. off of I-77. Easy to find if you're traveling south of Charlotte, NC. We went in and I panicked a little because they have an ATM machine inside and I didn't see credit card stickers. I asked the girl and she said they did take credit cards. I ordered the two-piece all white (two breasts) meal with green beans and potato wedges. The chicken was quite tasty and juicy. The green beans were heavenly...with lots of pork flavor. The potato wedges are dipped in the same batter used to fry the chicken in. They weren't fresh from the fryer, so they lacked a 'crispness' that I expected. (Note that we visited at 3:30 in the afternoon...a slow time, so they weren't cranking out the wedges.) Biscuit was pretty good.\r \r Wife ordered a smaller 'combo' plate with one side (she got baked beans) and dark meat chicken (a leg and skinny thigh.) A word on the beans, this is one 'take' on preparing baked beans, they were very sweet and had a casserole-type consistency. Too sweet for her to finish them.\r \r The sweet tea was marvelous. The girls working there were very nice. Pros: chicken, green beans, service
