Trust me from experience, do NOT move in here! Although there is great parking, it is poorly lit and very unsafe, as there was a robbery at gunpoint and carjackings throughout the past year. The layouts of the apartment are nice to live in, but not energy efficient (was paying over $160/month at times for the electric bill in a 2br!), and they do not maintain the property whatsoever. They do small, quick repairs that halt the problem for a little while, but they never completely fix the source of a problem. My ceiling fell down because of a leak 2 times this past year, which should NEVER happen! They advertise that the complex is 10 minutes from MUSC, but they do not include the fact that it takes, at times, 10 minutes just to turn out of the complex because of the traffic light at Sam Rit. and 61. The speedbumps in the parking lot have also beat up my car pretty badly from living there. There are also ""palmetto buggs"" - a.k.a. cockrooaches, there that are large enough to do some serious damage. Trust me, there are MUCH nicer places in West Ashley that are a lot cheaper.. do your research.
Pros: Nice floorplans, lots of parking, pet friendly, cheap
Cons: Huge insects, unsafe area, bad traffic, poorly maintained
