Review content:
I enjoy travelling and realy getting to know people from the places I visit. I love to socialize over food and when my friend brought me to Garren's Cafe-- I got a taste, not only of great southern cooking but also of wonderful southern hospitality. I loved the home style cooking.. the juicy burgers, chunky sandwiches, fluffy pancake, grits with everything in it :-) I especially savored eating amidst the southern chatter, freshly brewed coffee or sweet tea in tow! Mis Gig Alexander's banana pudding specially served on Tuesday's is worth coming back to. Actually, everything on the menu is worth coming back to, you can tell it from the regular diners i've come to know while visiting. Going to the Cafe is certainly like coming home to your ""home away from home"", where one is treated like family as soon as one walks in the door! Hope I got your apettite wet.. to the eager traveller: do say hello to my newfound family Ms. Gig, Judy and Jerry, for me!
