I fell in love with my dog when she was a week old, but knew that I had no qualifications to train her. I googled training facilities, was impressed with Shelmar, and called. Shelly told me about their setup, training and philosophy and I knew this was the right place. When my dog was six months old, I left her with Shelly and Martin for three weeks and returned to find that my dog was perfectfully trained - and that I could finally take her for a walk without being dragged through the neighborhood. Since then, I have left my ""doggie love of my life"" with Shelly and Martin for boarding on many occasions over the past several years. I know that she is well cared for and that she loves being with them. Simply put, I trust Shelly and Martin. I would not leave her with anyone else! I highly recommend Shelmar to anyone who wants their dog to receive top-notch training, and to be safe, respected and well cared for. They are the best.
