Review content:
I have been required for the last 2 years to go in every 6 months for repeat PAPs due to a surgery I had last year. Well I got a bill from the lab for the 2nd repeat this year and called insurance and the lab about it. I was told Ruch needed to provide the correct diagnosis code - that it cant be billed as a routine or preventative. Insurance told me they would pay when Ruch bills it correctly. Today the lady in billing told me they will not change it since I have had more than 1 return with good results. I then asked why I was required to repeat a test that they will not be able to bill where insurance pays it and was told my attitude is bad that I need to come in for my health. I bet this lady isnt having to pay $100 bills for tests that someone cant seem to bill correctly. I spoke with my insurance company and was told they can bill it to where insurance would pay it - but evidentally Ruch's billing department cant figure it out. Meanwhile I am stuck with past due bills. This place is a headache. Go elsewhere for a good OBGYN.
