Review content:
This company is unprofessional at best and deceitful at worst. I was asked in July of 2011 to get a MRI across the hallway from my orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jeff Cook at Franklin Orthopedics. I did not realize at that time that he owns Bioimaging at Cool Springs. Convenient. The price for the MRI was over $2,000 and inconclusive. After my insurance had settled the medical bills and I had paid all remaining balances, I called the bookkeeping at Bioimaging to make sure there was no remaining balance there. I was told by the bookkeeper after being asked for my date of birth and social security number that I had a zero balance. Imagine my surprise and frustration, when a week ago, 8 months after surgery, I receive a call from a very rude collections agent demanding $900. It seems that because of my divorce at that same time, and my former wife not forwarding any of my mail, they had been sending me statements, even though they told me I had a zero balance when I called. After receiving the call from the collections agent, I called the bookeeping office at Bioimaging and after three calls was told that I could not pay them a $700 balance that they ""discovered"", because it had been turned over to collections. I asked why I had been told I had a zero balance, and Cindy in bookkeeping said she had no answer for that. I then asked why I had not received a call during that seven months about my balance, and again she replied she had no answer for that. I would recommend avoiding at all costs this Orthopedic group and Bioimaging at Cool Springs.
