i made reservations for a graduation lunch well in advance. about a week before my graduation, they called me several times to remind me rather tactlessly that if i wanted to be served lunch, i MUST arrive before 1.
the day of my graduation arrives, and la note called me TWICE in the morning, again to remind me that i must be there by 1. not only that, they called three times DURING THE CEREMONY. i told them i would be coming as soon as the graduation ended, so they knew i would be in the ceremony when they called.
once i arrived there with my family at 12:30, they were extremely rude and most menu items were not available. towards the end of the meal, the wait staff started to completely ignore us (la note was not closed yet) because they were having their staff meal next to us.
Pros: good breads, ambience, breakfast
Cons: bad customer service, rude wait staff, ran out of menu items
