Review content:
We rented a pop-up camper from American Rental for 9 days. When we returned from our trip we swept, wiped down surfaces, and washed the outside of the camper before returning it. American Rental then called us and accused us of having a pet in the camper. They would not take our word that we did not and made us come out and clean the camper out ourselves. They were very rude about it. We had to sit out in the heat of the afternoon and with packing tape clean off every piece of hair and dirt off of the beds. It was ridiculous and we will never rent another thing from them again. There was nothing in the contract that stated we must detail the camper before returning it. You would not detail a car you rent before returning it, why would you have to detail a pop-up camper?
