When I first met the owner Connie, even she was very pushy, but at least she was nice to me. I had a Qi pao made from her, and I liked it even it cost $780. The reason I went to Ling's is for Carol(makeup artist) to do my makeup on my wedding day since she is highly recommend by my church friends. Then Connie and her husband pushed me to sign a contract for wedding photo shooting package which includes engagement shooting and wedding day shooting, but she never mentioned about digital files, I asked couple times, she just kept changing topics, and I didnt pay much attention on it. I signed contract since I thought she is a nice old lady, and she told me if I don't like the engagement photos, she will refund my wedding day shooting deposit. But on the day we went to pick up our engagement photos, she showed me the real side of her...totally different. She told me that all the digital files are $35 per single file for engagement photos, $2 per single file for my wedding day. (if I want 50 engagement photos, it will be an extra $1750, if I want 200 wedding photos, it will be another $400). She tricked me, and betrayed my trust. When I ask her to cancel my wedding day photo-shooting, she was so mad, and raised her voice telling me that ""if you don't want the face, I'm not going to give you face"". Finally we canceled the wedding part, because there were other customers came in. We spent $1000+, only have 20 8x10 prints, we wanted to buy at least 20 digital copies, but she refused to sell. After I walked out the store, my makeup artist Carol ran out and told me that Connie asked her to cancel the makeup contract with me on my wedding day, and she said many ""sorry"" to me, I told her I understand since she has contract with the store. Then I called Connie to refund my deposit for makeup contract, she hang up on me and refused to talk to me. We will take this to court .\r
Tips: ask all the price details before sign anything, otherwise a smiley face can be very ugly...
