Review content:
I purchased a mountain bike that was discounted due to the fact that it was last year?s model. I spent several weeks looking for better deals online but found nothing better. I was happy with the performance of the bike but not entirely thrilled. I didn't pay top buck for the bike, so I can't expect too much out of it. The sales reps seem to be knowledgeable, but some of them just tell you want you want to hear. I asked one if the shock was spring loaded and he replied with yes, while the mechanic at the back of the store told me it was an air shock. Other than that, he was very nice and seemed very informational. I went into the store a few days later and spoke with another sales rep (lets call him Mr. R) concerning some issues I had with the bike after testing it out for a few months. He quickly told me the store was closed, even though it was only 730pm and they close at 8pm. I told him I wasn't going to buy anything, I simply wanted to ask a few questions. He gave me some brief responses that made me feel a little stupid, and then called someone else out to help me out. The new sales rep was much nicer and explained all my questions clearly. I recently brought in my bike for a tune up, and since I bought it at Performance, the tune up was free. I enjoyed seeing the price of $0 on my bill. So make sure you get a good sales rep, and stay away from Mr. R.
Pros: $$$, Tune Ups
Cons: Customer Service can lack a little sometimes
