I have eaten here on many different occasions. I have eaten here with groups of friends and with my family as well. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. Upon first arriving at the restaurant, one is easily decieved into thinking it is plain and ordinary (the outside is nothing too special). However, once you enter in, it is quite elegant: low lighting, dark wood - an excellent place to bring your spouse or significant other. They have party rooms in the back which can be reserved. I have had friends that have had wedding parties and Christmas gatherings back there and have not been disappointed.\r

Be warned: if you eat here on a Friday or a Saturday, (especially Friday) it is recommended you get reservations as it tends to get full around 7. I try to dine in earlier than that or later to avoid the crowd if I haven't gotten a reservation. The low lighting and the fireplace are especially charming (and nice since it has been cold outside of late). \r

I would highly recommend the grouper (which even non-fish lovers will like) and the cabbage casserole which I believe to be the best side item on the menu. The frog leg appetizer is also quite tasty. Their speciality is the boneless fried chicken. Not being a steak eater, I cannot comment on the steak. However, they have five choices: the prime rib, the ribeye, NY strip, steak au poiuve, and the filet.\r

It's a nice restaurant, but also more laid-back with some nicer Southern style dishes and sides offered on the menu. So, if you are looking for a good experience with great service, this is the place to go!
