Stay clear of Richard Pazornik when looking for your new home loan!! This man is a scammer, in our opinion.
Despite communicating with him our intended down payment on numerous occasions, this man negligently omitted close to $9000 of our down payment money when preparing the mortgage for our new home, and instead prepared the loan using only the minimum required down payment.
He could not be reached to fix the error prior to closing, and we were forced to close with the incorrect loan amount. We returned from our closing with a check!!! for $9000 extra because of the error, embarrassed by the situation.
It is our opinion that Richard Pazornik maliciously switched the down payment amount at the last second to collect additional commission on the higher loan amount.
It is our opinion that this man is greedy and might do this to new home buyers, so watch out. When first working with Richard he will be very responsive, curious, and extremely helpful... That is, until after your offer is accepted and he has his SALE... you will not be able to reach him. When contacting Richard Pazornik and his manager Buddy Koolhof about the error, they admitted to the error, but refused to do anything to correct the error. Richard refused to refund the difference in commission he collected on the discrepancy (our only request), further proving his malicious intent. At one point Richard hung up on my wife.
Avoid Richard Pazornik when choosing your mortgage agent at all costs! Otherwise, get every detail IN WRITING when working with him, and seek a second reviewer for all of your documents. Richard Pazornik is a blemish on an otherwise impeccable Sun Trust reputation.
