Review content:
I had been bouncing around from salon to salon in Atlanta trying to find a hairstylist who would cut off my thick, long hair into the shorter, edgier shag I was looking for. I'd been spending around $60 every time, but was never satisfied and felt like no one was listening to what I asked for. I went to Roxy, and Emily Carnes (The Walton Tribune's 2009 Hairstylist of the Year) and her staff took me right in, listened to what I wanted out of my cut, and gave me just the new 'do I had been searching for! Everyone was so friendly, and the salon and boutique are adorably small-town chic, right in the middle of downtown Monroe. They have cute jewelry, beauty products, and gifts in the front of the shop, and to top it all off, my cut only cost $30-- HALF the price of what I paid at more disappointing salons in Atlanta! I would definitely recommend Roxy to anyone, guy or gal, looking for a reliable and sophisticated, people- and pocket-friendly hair salon! Pros: Walk-Ins Welcome, Inexpensive, Friendly Service, Boutique
