Tryg's was excellent all the way around. The food that we had was incredible. The service was friendly, the mood was nice, uptownish-but good. The fireplace was awesome. It really made it seem very charming and romantic. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food on the menu. 2 of our group had the pheasant wrapped with lobster. It was excellent. Very moist and very delicious. I had the scallops. They were beyond good. I can't tell you the last time I have had scallops that were that big and that good. Way to go Chef Philip, you out did yourself. I am very happy to say that we will be back. Tryg's is a definite must try if you haven't yet. A little on the spendy side, but well worth it. A nice addition to this part of Uptown and Lake Calhoun. Pros: good parking, romantic, knowledgable staff Cons: spendy
