Review content:
I finally decided to check this place out. After having moved here from Philly several years ago I admit I was really missing a good Cheesesteak, on that Amoroso bread, tastykakes, n' pretzels too of course. All of which South Street has on their menu. The bread was okay. The sandwich was small, over priced and they need to learn how to take an order. Nothing should go on a cheesesteak that you didn't ask for. Hi I didn't ask for Onions, and I certainly didn't ask for half cooked onions. I have to say that the restaurant itself looks great, I love all the Philly sports stuff, they even have a signed baseball card from my childhood hero former Philly Mike Schmidt. But other than that, the service was terribly slow and the sandwich itself left ALOT to be desired. Giving this one a 4 out of 10 for ambiance. You want a real philly cheesesteak experience get on a plane and a short drive from PHL airport is Tony Luke's. \r

p.s. This restaurant has no ACTUAL Philadelphia South Street memorabilia. I mean come on guys its the name of the damn restaurant.
Pros: Lots of great Philly stuff and Tastykakes.
Cons: Slow service, mediocre food.
