I saw the owner/worker of Lone Star Docks driving in his red truck today with a dog in the truck bed. The tailgate was down and I assumed that the driver did not realize this. When I flagged him down and motioned that his tailgate was down, he proceeded to make faces at me and laugh. He knew the tailgate was down and obviously left it that way on purpose. The dog in the back of the truck was obviously very scared and was hunched over in fear. There was no visible reason why the tailgate should have been left down. The dog was alone in the back of the truck. The driver of this truck is obviously an abusive person with little regard for animals. Please dont put money in his pocket by supporting his business. I have a photo of this truck that shows the dog, the open tailgate, the license plate, and the Lone Star Docks sign. This information has all been reported to the police.
