Review content:
Peter David's is a locally owned restaurant and catering service. But Peter David's status as a Greenville dining landmark doesn't mean the Finazzos are willing to rest on their culinary laurels. Instead, they are always looking for new and old dishes to feature, along with their regular menu items. One such featured dish is the Penne Pasta Angelina ($21.95), made with shrimp, artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes in a bur blanc sauce.
There are also signature items that continue to be popular with customers. One of the lunch favorites is Talk of the Town ($9.95), a French pastry stuffed with chicken breast meat, snow peas and mushrooms, finished with a cherry cream sauce.
The dishes are all prepared using the highest-quality ingredients and the same classic techniques the Finazzos have always employed in their kitchens, they said.
Peter David's also does a thriving catering business. The restaurant is available for private parties on nights when it is not open, and the Finazzos also do extensive off-site catering for a variety of business clients.
The kitchen at Peter David's Fine Cuisine is open for lunch from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and for dinner from 6-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant seats 95; reservations are encouraged. A full bar is available; smoking is not permitted. Located at 921 Grove Road; call 242-0404.
