This place is a real gem. You wouldn't know it to look at it from the outside though. But it's what's inside that counts. And to think, this place was almost torn down a few years ago so they could put up another office building - that would have been tragic. I think this is one the last original diners left in America. Aside from that, Curleys has the best, THE BEST French Fries in America! How this place has escaped the ""Travel Channel"" or ""The Food Networks"" best of America shows I'll never know. Probably because the locals want to keep this place a secret so they can have Curleys all to themselves.
Pros: BEST FRIES in AMERICA, BEST DINER FOOD in US, INEXPENSIVE
Cons: Parking is a problem, It's in Stamford,, not NYC
