My hard-learned rule for any kind of construction is: It will take longer, be harder and cost more than you ever think it will."
This water project lived up to that rule. I hired Javi to install a very long water line from my barn out to the chicken coop and garden. As sometimes happens, this job got more complicated as it progressed and Javi and Justin never complained, I never got 'attitude' or filthy language, nor did Javi try to renegotiate the price. They installed a 5 foot deep trench well over 200 feet long and had to hand dig 15 feet of that. They were so respectful of my property and especially the safety of my animals, making sure my horse didn't get hurt. At feeding time I couldn't get to my hay room, so Justin stopped his work and climbed out of the trench and helped by handing me hay and alfalfa for my horse, always with a smile. Initially I thought their bid was a bit high, but after seeing their work, their professionalism, and the fact that the job was harder, and took longer I think it was very fair. Its so refreshing to have real pros work here, instead of the guys who sit out in their truck and smoke dope before they start, leave the job and never come back, or just don't show up after they bid it. After Javi's work here, I realize that I've never had a professional work here!
