Review content:
The first time we used Swartz Glass, they missed their appointment to collect our peice of glass and rescheduled for the following day, and then was two hours late for the appointment. It was a very pricey peice of glass for our kitchen table. They quoted us $175 for the job and collected it. Once it got to their place, they then said it would be $425 to cut it and said they had to send it out. Mike Swartz bragged about how they had been in business for 35 years etc ... and how they were a firm of their word. They sent the glass to get cut, then told us it was ruined and that they were not responsible. A new peice of glass would be $800. I asked for them to pay for my ruined glass and they refused. When I got angry they hung up the phone and refused to speak with me, being very rude and unfriendly. I would NEVER recommend this company and absolutely caution against using them for any job ever again. If you want a job done properly and to not be entirely ripped off please visit: www.55glass...p.s. just look up Mike Swatz's reputation online! Terrible! No wonder he moved from Santa Monica to Venice!
