Until tonight, it had been an entire year since I'd been to Botticelli's. But now I wish that I hadn't waited so long to go back! It was a Saturday night, but the place was pretty empty... probably due to the new Olive Garden in town, which is always jam packed with a one to two hour wait, regardless of the time or day. But honestly, I think that Botticelli's is just as good as the Olive Garden. The food is different, but just that... ""different""... not worse or better than the OG, in my opinion. But anyway, tonight, my husband and I both had an excellent experience at Botticelli's. We were sat immediately, our waitress was a doll, and the food was EXCEPTIONAL! The four things that I recommend the most at Botticelli's are: the spinach artichoke dip, the tomato artichoke soup, the ravioli di formaggio (with portabellos), and the chicken piccata. Those have always been my favorites, so I haven't really tried anything else, but those four dishes, at least, are made to perfection. The spinach artichoke dip is literally the best I've ever had, and the tomato artichoke soup is to die for. So anyway, what I'm trying to say is, people should definitely keep patronizing Botticelli's and not just the OG, because if Botticelli's were to go out of business or something, that'd really be terrible. I'll be sure to alternate between here and the OG every time my hubby and I want Italian now. ;)
