Review content:
I go to Cloo's because it's the only place in town that serves Detroit style Coney Dogs.\r
\r
I am intensely annoyed every time I go, because the service is so slow. The only way I can explain this is because Cloo is from Detroit, and couldn't hack it serving up Coney Dogs the way they're meant to be served: FAST. It took 30 minutes to be served 5 hot dogs, and fries!!! This is totally unacceptable. \r
\r
The coney dogs were good, but the loose burger was dry.\r
\r
There are plenty of smart MBA students at State that can teach you a bit about process optimization. Get the food out faster, and you'll have better turn over, and higher profits, and a much better customer experience. The whole concept of cook to order you're trying to emphasize is dated, and pure lazieness. \r
\r
Plus, I don't think it it'll k1ll you to update the place - it's a total dive. Go visit Athens Coney Island on 13 and Woodward next time you're back in Michigan; they'll show you how it's done.
Pros: not as good as, but approximates detroit style coneys
Cons: cook to order service is insultingly slow
