I'm not one to write reviews but this place deserved mine! I work near the area and have been getting brazilians for several years now. My last place has just become too inconvenient because they moved to a further location in Newton. Anyhow, I called to see if they had a same day opening for a brazilian and was fortunate to get one. I thought I'd experienced them all (hot, cold, soft, strip, hard) and since I'm not a newbie at this, I expected to be subjected to all kinds of positions - on my side with one leg lifted or bent, on all fours, while I pull and tug at my skin on all different directions. I was armed with the experience and expected to be put to work. Well, my experience at Lotus was none of that! As you arrive, you are greeted warmly, escorted to your room, instructed to undress from the waist down, and to drape with a towel. My esthetician used a lavender hard wax which felt nice and warm (not hot as most places have it). It lasted for merely 20 or so minutes, which was pretty quick and easy in my book, and the only effort I placed was when she asked me to hug my knees when she needed to access my backside (yup this is part of a brazilian). Before I knew it, she was cleaning up the wax residue. I asked her if I needed to shift positions, she goes ""no you're all set!"". Really? No side lying, face down with lifted leg and certainly not on all my fours (which she admitted was strange that other places ask clients to do this). When I checked down there, it was super clean! I am very happy with the job! I also almost fell asleep it actually was relaxing. I decided to sign up for a membership so it costs me only $36 bucks every time I get it done.
